So we* started SoulBites. A space about L.O.V.E. - for yourself, others and the planet. With words, art, music and products that take you to a world of positive energy, sustainable living, creativity, self-love and well-being. Always following our principles of L.O.V.E. (Local, Original, Vintage, Eco), our mission is to create a better world together.
SoulBites Foundation wants to create positive impact with social business initiatives, tackling social and environmental problems with very concrete action. All our collections have a message, a meaning and a cause. 100% of the profits go to selected charities for triple impact.
Our first collection is the "L.O.V.E. You" circular jewelry collection together with NoWa. A unique, handmade collection from recycled silver and gold out of waste mobile phones. 100% of this collection's profits go to Kikid Foundation - they teach self-love at high schools with creative programs.
Other collections followed: "Army of L.O.V.E.", an upcycled unisex fashion collection made of vintage army & navy clothes from which the profits go to Masterpeace Foundation. They inspire people to use their talent and energy for peace building. Our "BIG HUG" upcycled sweaters collection inspires for more hugging while reducing fashion waste. All profits from this collection go to The Present Movement, a charity active in the field of well being for people and planet.

With SoulBites Foundation, we want to scale social business impact and support self-love charities. We do that by co-creating L.O.V.E. based collections with social businesses and either donate 100% of the profits to self-love charities or invest in new items of the collection for more impact.
Our first co-creation was the L.O.V.E. You Circular Jewelry collection with NoWa; made of 100% recycled silver and gold from mobile phone waste. All profits are donated to Kikid, a charity teaching self-love at highschools.
History of L.O.V.E.
SoulBites started in 2019 on Instagram with @instasoulbites curated by our founder, Odette van Zijdveld. The idea was to give this world a group hug with words & art with soul.
In 2020, a handful of partners joined and the SoulBites brand was formed and defined - as a common passion project, next to our jobs, businesses and studies.
In January 2021, SoulBites Foundation was established with the goal to increase the L.O.V.E. level in this world. Love for ourselves, each other, and the planet. We support businesses and charities doing just this.
With SoulBites Foundation, we want to help scale social business impact and support self-love charities. We do that by co-creating L.O.V.E. based collections (meaning Local, Original, Vintage, Eco) with social businesses.
